getting hard to find the LM cans for the Music Man amps, only foreign bootlegs that snap like a dry twig in a stiff desert wind,

so we splice 5 leads, + in, - in, out, and pwr rails and see what happens,

they make a conversion socket but who has time to order that? gettin old here,

tried the pervibial 4558 but it was a no go,

had some OPA604 fet inputs laying round and the amp started workin go figure,

actually we stole a can from the reverb section and put the DIY opamp in the reverb slot, thus preserving the original tone,

OPA604  might have sounded better in the preamp slot, but how long would it last?

that's all i got unless you wish to add something,

The LM307 is a single opamp. It's very low bias current bipolar input; nobody makes them anymore. Substitute with TL071.

we do find a lot of spiders inside amps, sometimes a roach stuck in the input jack, never seen a dragon fly but there is still time,

frank Marino does a good version of Dragon Fly have you heard it?

dragon fly is Chun Chun in vietnamese, thery got a lot over there,

Fortunately I have about 60 pcs of NOS original NS LM307H (made in 7445) in stock, so if anybody needs one, pm me.
