I'm looking at the schematic and I'm not sure where the Black and grey wires from the Jensen transformer connect to on the Mod; Help appreciated.

Marik, I believe the Black is Primary and the Grey is Secondary. However I'm not sure where they connect to on the circuit.

I see where the Orange, Yellow, Red and Brown go from the Schematic, but am confused as to where these two go.

Do you mean there are two Blacks and two Greys in your transformer?

I believe these go to ground. I've got black, grey, green, and orange all going to ground on my modded mic.

Just one Black and one Gey. The 4 (Orange,Yellow,Red,Brown) other wires are listed on schematic and show where they go.

Gotcha-- just looked (should have done that first ) at the data. Those are internal shields and, as Fum has said, go to ground.

BTW Fum,

The data does not show green. Did they replace brown with it? Then you are running your mic unbalanced:

oops, my bad.

Green was the ground wire of the xlr connector

Cracked it open for a quick peek, and as I was typing, my kids rushed the studio for their daily chocolate fix ( they know when they visit me, they can have a piece from the candy jar =) ).

Still need to get that grill off, to remove a layer of mesh....
