that's looks very nice. Can you explain a bit how you made the body, especially the headbasket? It looks much nicer than anything I could make with my hands...

Body was made of brass and lot of polishing, the ring for basket is also made of brass!
The basket was the most complex to do....i made a press-cutter for modeling the grill in model of Elam, this part was most difficult
First i was modeled the grill with hand on wodden modeler and than the grill went to press cutter...and BANG with hammer inside the press cutter.
After press cutter i cut some grill that was surplus than i got mom's clips for fix the grill inside the basket ring, and glued with metal flux(Hysol).

That is quite inspiring!

The basket looks very open and I think that is probably a good thing from a sonic perspective. Is it shielded enough? Do you have the capability to test this layout in higher RF areas?

Interested in how you did the end-bell-cap too.

Any issues with brass patina or does it keep the polish/shine well?

Congratulations on your new mic!

Best Regards,
jonathan

Thanks guys!
I was thinking about one more mesh...but with only one mesh has a very good sound, better than my G7 which is 3 layer mesh!
I always can do another mesh inside mic.
It is quiter than G7, and dont have any grounding, hum, hiss problem....
