The NEC chip seems to have higher performance than the LM148:

it is the quad opamp placed on the Rane RE14 graphic eq
for drive the + / - db on frequency sliders.
The only difference appears to be in the position of the dominant pole. It is at about 10Hz in the LM148 and about 80Hz in the NEC part. The LM149 has its pole shifted to about the same place as the NEC.The NEC chip seems to have higher performance than the LM148:

it just seems a bit difficult to find a good replacement candidate,
maybe because it is currently not widely used ?
