hi all ,
some difficult to find Nec uPC4741C quad opamp spares or best equivalent replacement,

someone have some info about ?

thanks in advance for any about.

The NEC chip seems to have higher performance than the LM148:
The only difference appears to be in the position of the dominant pole. It is at about 10Hz in the LM148 and about 80Hz in the NEC part. The LM149 has its pole shifted to about the same place as the NEC.

Cheers

Ian

I did notice the NEC spec sheet lists 1.6 V/uS slew rate vs. the 0.5 spec of the 148/348 family. I can't find anything about the 149/349 family any more....discontinued?

The NEC sheet also listed a noise spec as well. shrug

The thing I might be concerned about with a TL074 as a replacement in this case would be the possibility of that "faster" chip being unstable in that particular design. Just speculation...

Thanks for all post and info,

it just seems a bit difficult to find a good replacement candidate,

maybe because it is currently not widely used ?

Yes, it is literally friggin' ANCIENT, and as you've probably noticed, it's difficult these days to find something as low-performing as that anymore.
