4 channel phantom power box, can be had relatively cheaply at times. I notice there aren't many phantom supplies on the market anymore that are more than 1-2 channels.

I needed a T-power supply, and anticipated at least 2 channels, maybe more. The Sennheiser/etc T supplies are usually 2 channel, and not offered on the cheap. The 48V to T power converter barrels tend to cost $40+ a pop.

The Crown power transformer has dual center tapped secondaries that can have half of each secondary paralleled to get voltage down to 1/4 of stock value. One resistor change around the regulator sets up 12VDC output easily. The XLR's are the Neutrik PCB mount type that can be removed from the shells with the release of a screwdriver catch in each one, so the XLR PCB can be pulled out of the XLR shells in one piece for rebuilding to T-power spec. Don't let the rivets holding the XLR shells to the case fool you.
