Does anyone know how to remove the plastic insert? spacer? on the back of this toggle switch. One of the EQ range switches is broken and I need to replace it but the insert appears to be glued in. Thanks IA.
I finally figured it out. It has a thin front panel for graphics that hides the recessed area where they have a standard nut holding the switch in. I realized this after seeing someone who had those original UA panels for sale in the Black Market . . . about 20 min after I had posted! The panels are held in place by the pot nuts which is nice they were able to do that. Back in the 60s it would have been hot glued or min riveted! The plastic things are apparently spacers to control protrusion.
