Need HELP! - PM1000 Rack - almost done but...

Yes! that's what I needed. But it's a little more confussing than that... I'm not using the original switch so my normal position connects red to red & white to white... the ORIGINAL flips them in the normal position but this WON't work with the direct input.

Just so I'm checking the in to output correctly... what's the easiest way to check?

I was just sending a test tone to my console (which I know is correct) & thru the pre to the board at the same time & the signals cancelled each other when set NORMAL.

Probably a dumb question.
Does a circuit, in general, care if the signal is fliped or not, I don't think it should matter but I don't really know if they're set up to work optimally one way or the other.

Doesn't matter - AC is AC, if there was any bias towards + or - you'd hear distortion (aka nonlinear behavior).
