Searching for a fellow European to help me make a pair of rack ears for a Focusrite 2802 console. Audient who is the original manufactur of these consoles do not longer sell the rack ears but have made the drawings available for free on there site so people can make there own.

https://support.audient.com/hc/en-us/articles/202917228-INFO-ASP2802-Rack-Ear-Drawings

But I don't have easy access to a metal shop or some large metal benders and/or welding equipment that might be needed to make these.

Dont really know what a fair rate for this kind of job is so send me a PM with a price if you are interested. :)

I have used Geers Cutting in Germany, not for racks, but for parts for an older Airstream.

The now have a folding press service too.

The drawings mentioned  are AutoCad dwg files. I have not opened them. You may need to adapt them if folding is required.

Thx for the reply and info!

Any ideas on what kind of software I need to modify the dwg files to add folding to the drawing?

I believe that you can find locally an aluminium or such warehouse (Bauhaus etc.) where you can buy aluminum l profile
20x60mm and you can DIY it.

Good suggestion! Some times the most easy solution is the best one!

Got a retired metalworker to help me locally to cut it. pretty much for free just needed to supply the material. So will check a local Bauhause :)
