I need to regulate 2x 24 vdc down to 2 x15 vdc for my API clones.

The 24 v powersupply I have here is a real pro regulated one.
So I'm gonna use some LM regulators to get there.
What else /and where should I bring in some other components, or will I be just fine ?

thanks

Some might say you need to put some small value 2W-5W resistors between the 24V and the 15V. But, if your not powering like 8 of them, and since it's only a 7.5V drop (1.5 will drop across the regulators anyway), I'd just put some decent sized heat sinks on the 15V regulators. Actually, you could use adjustable regulators and loose 2 more volts by setting them to 17V instead of 15V.

what is the dc going into the 24 regs? if it's below 40, just run the 15 volt regs in paralell
