Anyone heard of a pec-n? I've got a pair I'm trying to recap but they don't match. The previous recap was haphazard to say the least. If anyone knows of schematics for it I'd be much obliged. I checked the tech docs here and at Darius 'ses site - no luck. I'm trying to avoid tracing/drawing it out as it would take much less time to just use a schematic.

Question on Neumann PEV:

Does anyone know what the "M" at maximum treble boost is meaning?

(yes, I had them and used them for 30years, only now noticed the labeling)

Probably just "Maximum". I can't think of any other German word that would make sense in this case.

Just strange that they did this in stead of a number.

I can't find original user's manual - only schematics.

Even the softtube plugin version manual does not mention reasoning for this.
