Neumann PV76 fine trim not making much difference..

Hello everyone!

I recently got a PV76, which I am delighted with (if anyone is selling another single piece, please let me know!!)

Everything works nicely, and I have just recapped it. I notice however that the fine trim doesn't adjust much more than around 1db or so, and I have tried with a new pot too. Can anyone please help me identify what the issue is here? I assume it's an old component of some kind in the path, but I am not experienced enough to determine what it is in the schematic.

Isn't that because thats all the fine trim is supposed to do?

should be 0db > -6db
