Wow!

Care to elaborate on the TLM103 front end?

I have a dead TLM193 here as well...

Thanks in advance!  :)
I wll make some more test soon. Audio also. But im.short with spare time and the owner was anxious to use it. Fortunatelly he has some records of the  original so we will try to make side by side compare.  Btw, if u need this little pcb i can send u one ;)

The owner was kind enough to make after mod samples. Of course, it was not recorded at once (stock was recorded few months ago), so there is possibility of some difference in session, but it's close enough to have a clue about the results. Samples were trimmed to same LUFS, so that was the only processing . I'm pleased with this "mod".

Hey guys. I tried to trace the circuit but some details still confuse me. Anyways, I give a try with TLM103 front end(Thx to Dale). And yes, it works great. This marriage sounds really good, and the best thing is that  one day if someone decide to bring it back to original, its 15min of job ;) here is the pic. Cheers
HI! Also here in Italy there is a faulty MH102  :'(
I would ask if I can have some help with the solution you have tried  :)
Thanks a lot!

Is it possible to find/have schematics for the replacement you have tried?
I didnt posted here because it's not mine property but please contact me by mail and we can figure out something

Hey guys. It took me some time to remove this nasty coating, but here it is. Some of the parts just felt with the coating but topology is visible. To be honest, It looks unknown to me, except I see that Jfet (PF5101) is bootstrapped and that has some feedback for probably distortion cancellation. Right now, I'm really short with the spare time so I will be not able to examine any deeper. Red mark on the PCB is probably diode, but it was already dead so I was not able to measure polarity :(
Hello, Do you have the schema of this PCB? We are having same issue... thank you!
