I recently completed this summing unit and I though you guys might like to hear a comparison and see who can tell the difference and comment on which they feel sounds better.
2 samples X & Y, exactly the same except 1 was summed in cubase the other summed through my neumann. I added a little maximisation at the end but this was added after I had recorded the summed signal in, so both samples have exactly the same added to them post, and the peak level of both summed and un summed were identical prior to the maximiser.

but I'd say tat X is the Neumann and Y in the box...
