actual connector. Or how to mount the components.

I wanna build one clone and I need to know original layout and wiring. What parts are where (on Ba283 socket , on transformers, on back socket on chassis etc)

I mean connections like this

Why don't you use the PCB from vintagedesign

http://www.vintagedesign.se/diy/1290pcb.pdf

Then you don't need to go into these considerations at all, because all resistors (beside the potentioneter) between the various amplification stages are already on the board.

I'm about to finish the Neve1290 based on the pcb from vintagedesign using Joe Malones schematic for a two gang switch from Rob Grow's homepage. So far everything is working as expected and I just ordered some Lundahl transformers to finish the project. I intend to use Kevin's suggestion from the old forum about having a switch to control the gain of the first preamp stage.

Good luck with building the Neve clone.

Need only one output transformer and chassis and I ll finish.
I would like to build original original pcb (1272 version)

O.K., then I understand.
I hope to finish mine during the christmas holidays. I haven't passed audio through yet, but only checked it with a signal generator and an oscilloscope. I intend to include a transformerless DI based on Bo Hansen's circuit.
I'll post some picture when it is done.

Best, Klaus

Hey there Duka,

Sorry to come in late on this, too much stuff going on.

The stuff I dug up on the 283 as connectivity came from the jlmaudio site, he's a couple of pdfs that show how this module can easily be hooked up.

You may have seen these already, but.....

Hi JU
Thanks for link. I have it. I dont want to make mods, I only wanna know where Neve put supply resistors and caps (12 and 270ohm and caps 400u and 1000uF) 1,5K and 100uF and how they wired BA283 socket with back socket.
