The signal cap between the LM833 and the SSM2142 says c8- 10m N.P.

#1, I assume N.P. means non-polar?

#2, 10m is oldschool for 10uF? Or does it really mean mF...as in 10000uf?

I'm leaning toward the 10uf statement due to the .pdf's explanation of a 10mF Tant near the power pins on the IC's...and then to see it marked 10u on the schemo..

But if I'm wrong, please tell me :)

Thanks!
Todd

Makes sense to me in context.

Looks like Kev used "u" and "m" interchangeably for "μ".

Good! Thanks..

Another quickie..what's the dif between a non-polar and bi-polar cap?

Todd

Edit: Nevermind...found it. For anyone else:

Polarity: Capacitors that may be safely operated with only one DC polarity are called "polar" Capacitors which can be operated without regard to polarity are "non-polar". Sometimes "polar" caps are combined in special ways to allow a limited ability to cope with revering polarity are called "bipolar"
