Lassoharp and I both got coverage in this book.  He even got a pic!

It focuses on the POV of the author, and his experiences taking the pictures.  It also has a good number of brief interviews, I'm one of many.  I learned a lot about my own area from it. 

I wish the pictures were printed on better paper, but given many of these were destined for newsprint originally, and the book layout, it makes sense.

I'm most happy to see the author get this out, since it's a decent overview of a region over a span of time, with other historical info thrown in.  It's structured to support the photos he wanted to show primarily, but did clue me into a lot of things going on under my nose that I was unaware or only slightly aware of.
