I got a Robuk RK4 tape recorder for Christmas when I was about 12 years old. It was a 3 motor deck, three speeds, separate mic and line inputs plus a built in amp and speaker. It even had a superimpose switch that disconnected the erase head when recording. It basically set the course of most of my career.
