Hi everyone!

I'm working on an adaptation of Aronaut's version of NYDave One Bottle pre that can be found here:
http://groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=45990.0

I'd like to use an OEP tranny (love these transX) instead of a Cinemag, but I'd like to be sure that everything is OK.
So:

Is a A262A3E suitable for this project?

If so, I'll have to use one primary (150R) and both secondaries series connected (25K) to approach the 200/50K ratio written on schematic, right?

And if required, what would be the component values to modify?
If any of you has infos...

Thanks! ;)

Do not do this. Use primaries and secondary in series just like in the Gyraf G9.

1:6.45 is more than enough for this tube pre. Terminate with a 82k resistor and select zobel to taste (try on circuit), if at all, adn you will end with a ~200:8.2k that should be all you need for low noise. Gain will be a little lower than aeronaut version, but will be enough even for ribbons without an output transformer.

If you do as you say, you will end with bad sound, high distortion and low frequency cut.
