I can no longer locate OEP transformers on the Newark site. Have they discontinued them?
don't know if this helps :!: but they have some at farnell.

If you call Newark in One, tell them that you are looking for an item from "Farnell in One", give them the item number from Farnell and they will order it in for you. They have a network with overseas companies. There is another "in One" Company that I can't remember off the top of my head but they are connected.

read the profile page and you will see they all deal internationally.
Give them a call.

Cheers

I go to Newark's website, type "OEP transformer" in the search box, and the right transformers pop up...

Peace,
Al.

You guys sure use a lot of OEP stuff. Maybe i should put in the more popular models and applications and sources in the Transformer Meta.
So what is everybody using in the OEP line nowdays?

Thanks!

Many of the Farnell parts I have ordered (haven't tried the transformers, though) didn't appear on the Newark website, even with the "Special Order" box checked. But if you call them, they will give you the part number over the phone.

It seems prices have gone up a few dollars. I bought a couple of OEPs from Newark a couple of years ago and I remember the price being well under $20 each.

I never put the OEPs into service because I still don't have the shielding cans.

I just ordered two OEPs for mnat's G1176 board. (Thanks for the link.) From what I understand, they're a bit "dirtier" than the Luhndahls and 1/2 the price. So I'll end up with an 1176 with rock and roll character, then I'll build a Forsell Opto compressor with discrete components for a toally different sound.

It's impossible to do a topic search on the "1176 Repost" thread. It's such a long thread that I get a timeout error when I try to search for this information. (I'm on page 11 so far.) I guess I'll take your word for it and go with a discrete input for now, saving the extra OEP for a future project.
