this concerns the pinout - here is what I have so far, but I am a little confused about how to hook up the power. Here is the list I came up with so far:

28 - XLR pin 2
27 - XLR pin 3
26 - Ground Bus (XLR 1)
25 - Ground Bus
24 - Echo
23 - Echo
22 - ?
21 - Mix Bus 1
20 - Mix Bus 2
19 - Mix 3
18 - Mix 4
17 - Phantom 48VDC
16 - ?
15 - +44VDC

so my question is where do I hook up the - side of the 44V? Does it go to one of the ground bus leads, or to a different pin (like 16, which would seem logical to me) Anyone know what 22 does? I just want to make sure and double check before I make the magic smoke leave these modules. Thanks to those who have helpes thus far - things are going to come together over the weekend, and hopefully I'll have a case and some pictures in the next few weeks!

Bag the connector if you are racking them..red is +44 volts, orange is +48 volts and black is ground (or any point on the huge ground plane on the pcb)..take your direct output off of c37..there is a spot on the pcb marked BO (board out) and right beside it E (ground)..you can come out of there for unbalanced which sounds fine or install a transformer for balanced out...if you come out of the connector past all the remaining switches etc..it is a little more noisy..the echo sends are also a little sub par compared to the direct method

so is pin 16 where I connect the negative terminal of the power supply?

I am just using the connector as a reference here - the whole frame of the channels are going to go to scrap.

And C37 is the tantalum cap near the bank of switches? Not much is labeled on these PCB's - I can probably locate that from the schematic.

my main concern is the power - and not hitting anything with that 48 Volts - I just gotta know where the power leaves the module!

thanks!
