Hello,
For a while now I have been looking for a decent 1/4 inch master recorder. Although 1/2" would be nice, i think it would be overkill. I now have the chance to buy a studer A812 in perfect condition, heads look like new and the price is 900 euro. Is this too mutch?
I would like to know from you guys if this machiene would be a good adition to my studio or should I wait a litlle longer for a A820. Is there a notable difference between the two?
At the moment I'm thinking of buying it as it uses the same repro and record electronics as my A820 24 track of witch I'm very pleased at the moment. All advice would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
Geert
