Hi Ian/Tomas,

Thank you both..

Only the one that are highlighted in yellow. However. I do not particularly need them as I have been selling my archives (due to shortage of space) and I would not like to be seen to be profiting from them . But I suppose the priority would be the following schematic diagrams for those who have the desk;

EB20226
EH10067
ES10203
R10023
ML60594
EL10017
EN10051/X/
Yes I believe these are what I need most. Although I’m not familiar with the letter and number combinations. Ha. Are these all the schematics? There’s also a large format sort of overall wiring chart that shows all the frame wiring that is kind of important. Might even be two of those, not sure. Do you have these? Thanks a ton all you guys. Gregory

Those are the only ones missing from the manual I have. As I mentioned before the ones that are not highlighted in yellow are in the other two manuals that I can copy from.

However, I have no idea what would be in the wallet which is generally stuck at the last cover page at the end of the manual.

The letters that are placed before the drawing number are the revisions and the ones placed after the drawing number like A1, A2 etc are the paper sizes.

I actually have a drawing labelled H/10023. See attached. This is basically the overall system drawing for 1073 Channel Amplifier. H stands for the revision as the drawing has revisions with dates from C to L. So, I am not really sure if R/10023 is a version of this.

Hello, I have a lot of scanned documentation since I used to service a 8068. It comes with my own quite extensive notes that unfortunately are in swedish.
Very interesting. Is there any way you can make these available? Dropbox or something? Maybe post in the tech docs section? A little Swedish might be a fun challenge. The last one of these I worked on had notes in what might have been Swedish. I just remember there was tape on some relays with partly understandable text.

I’m working on hentor23’s desk, so I’ll be the one reading them anyway.

Is there any chance you’d have the large interconnect diagram? That one is very helpful.

Hi Cemal,

Yes I saw that. Quite a few are missing. I know he is OK photographing the odd sheet or two and the quality of the photos is excellent but I have never asked him for more than that. Are you able to prioritise what you need just in case?

Cheers

Ian
Hi Ian,

I’m working on hentor23’s desk, so I’ll jump in here. I’ll have to go through the existing docs next time I’m up at the studio to figure out what’s missing exactly. Definitely the large format (A0?) stuff that I assume was in the wallet. And the schematics of the modules. I can live without the 31102, as I’m generally familiar, and can fudge it with the 1073 docs. The aux and routing modules would be very helpful though.

Thanks much.

In basic terms, drawings starting with EB are block diagrams - those are what I used to draw for custom consoles when I was there. The Drawing Office converted this into the overall wiring diagram, which was known as the "2-wire" that was used by the factory to wire the consoles. These drawing all begin with EH.

Modules also have their own EB and Eh drawings.

Cheers

Ian
