Hey Guys,
Does anyone have any tips for removal of screen print from pcb?

I've invested a little in getting some  LCD screens tooled up that the factory has gone and plastered their web address all over, and I'd like to protect my investment for at least a little bit ;)

I've tried using a sharp knife, which has worked but I have to be extremely careful and it's quite time consuming.

I've ordered a fibreglass pencil, not sure if that is going to help, not holding up much hope..

There are as many screen-print inks as there are manufacturers - UV, 2-component etc. - hard to say anything in general about this.

have you tried solvents?

Brake Kleener will take more paints than carb cleaner.

But as said, there are many "paints" and some of them may set by polymerization not just drying; and tough polymers not just linseed-oil polymerization.

You might consider a mask and applying your own paint over the factory paint. Could look like one of Hilary's emails after all the good stuff has been redacted.
