Pm1000 Direct Ins

Anybody done a mod like this? I am looking for a way to hook up all my synths to my Pm1000 without so many DI's. I love the way it sounds with countryman's but would like and alternate approach.

If you look in the manual of the PM1000 it gives examples of transformers that you can use specifically for that purpose. If you wanted to do it within the console itself, well that would be an entirely different ballgame that would probably require a lot of work. You'd probably be better off building an external 8 channel DI (using nice transformers) and keeping that around the studio to use with anything.
