I'm using Gyrafs Pultec schematic.  http://gyraf.dk/gy_pd/pultec/gy_pd_sch.gif
I'd like to not use a bypass.  My question is, in reading the schematic, on the two places marked *BYPASS*, the way the arrow is currently going (up position) is fully functional and not in bypass, correct?
Also in using a resister in place of the 2k2a Q control a 2k2 would be a narrow Q and no resister would make a wide Q, correct?
Thank you,

The switches are shown in the operational mode i.e. not in bypass.

A2k2 resistor would result in a wide bandwidth (low Q) and a small or zero resistor would result in a narrow bandwidth (high Q).

Cheers
