I'm about to start racking a pair of quad eight mm-403's I picked up on ebay a few years back. Have some electronics experience but not advanced by any means. My plan is to do the work and take it to a tech to check over before I plug it in. I've bought a pair of Condor 28v power supplies to supply the dual power required.
I'm not quite sure what transformers to go with. I can't find any documentation on what would have been used with these pre's. From what I can see it looks like the Cinemag QE 3440a will do the job for me on the input side and I'll either have to track down a set of QEE 3041 for the output or ask Cinemag to do a custom job.
Anyone familiar with the MM403's? I have pinout diagrams and schematics which I'll post as soon as I can access a scanner.
