Saw him maybe 15 years ago, what a great experience.  RIP.

I heard a live radio concert from Stockholm (Berwaldhallen) over 15 years ago,  after Mr. Shankar finished tuning his instrument the audience gave him an applause and the master said: "If you liked what you heard when we were tuning, you really going to like what comes now!"
