Greetings to all.

I have DIY REDD.47
A High-Voltage power supply has such a scheme:

But instead of the necessary 290 volts at its output, it turns out only 256 volts.
- All measurements were carried out under load -

Is it possible to change something in this circuit to get the required 290 volts?
Perhaps this will be a decrease in the resistance value of 3K, or completely exclude it from this scheme.
Or maybe there are other options?

Yes. Second method is to switch from tube rectifier to SS in order to save some voltage.
IMO,  the secondary of only 250VAC is little too low for using a tube rectifier and get 300VDC at 20mA.
Download the PSUD2 software from here http://www.duncanamps.com/psud2/
and try to optimize it.
