I have the BA-3, sounds great, use it as a preamp. The 13 has an input transformer with more treble extension. The General Electric program amps of the same era are the same general circuit.

I've just put mine into commission but so far it sounds really nice as a mic amp (even if that wasn't it's original purpose). Similar big sound to the Ba-11 and 21s I've worked on.

Attached some pics in case anyone's interested in the little modifications I've done. Input impedance switch, bypass switch for the first attenuator stage. Oh, and I repurposed the meter switch to allow a hi freq boost in 1 db steps. Per the manual's "frequency compensation" section- just switching caps in the feedback circuit.
