Hey folks,

I've built up 4 channels of the 7th Circle kit, w/ 2 A12's (API) and 2 N72's.

I've decided to pull the A12's as I like them the best and sell the rest. So, they'll need a new power supply and power transformer. Can somebody point me to to a good option w/ 48V?

Running apis and neves in one array can be quite tricky due to the apis's 16 / 17 volt desideratum (abstract, rare amount of power consumption).

I for my part will be also putting apis and neves together but will leave the four apis in one box and not put them together with neves or any other 24 v type preamp.

But going strictly by your direction, you can't do wrong with whistlerock's psu. JLMs are also adjustable at all rails.

Cool.

Thanks, I'm leaving the N72's in the rack and selling that as one piece, and keeping the API amps for myself.
I probably should have checked before asking these questions, but I'm assuming that the 7th Circle supply outputs +/-24V regulated rails, and then that is adjusted on the cards themselves if less voltage is needed.

There are lots of options.

Mnats sells a power supply PCB on his site (its mixed in with 1176 stuff, but it works great) (but not 48v phantom)
fivefish audio sells one with 48v phantom
JLM audio has one with phantom

Antek transformers has great transformers for cheapest I can find.

Sorry too lazy at the moment to make this post super convenient with links, but Google is your friend:)

Good luck!
