Was thinking about this
we need a DIY Motto. Something to cry out when are in the thick off all DIY, Something that inspires us to carry on even when we are tired and frustrated, Something that the moment we hear it we instantly go into fight to the finish DIY mode. Something that can end up on a tee-shirt for sale @ the next AES show.
O.k. that last one is a joke. But seriously I think we need a motto.

So I submit to you a candidate for our DIY motto

I Think HI-Fi and recording are 2 different things.

Hi Fi to me is the the sound you get in your living room with 5.1 surround or a good "Hi-Fi" stereo. I seriously get stuck 14 hours a day listening to neutral...
at MUCH better quality.

"DIY: Do or die!"

(This is inspired by the long-time motto of Bed-Stuy in Brooklyn).

I think that 'Semper Hi-fi' sounds too much like it would be seized upon as an audiophool motto. Clever, but very much what I'm against.
