For sale as above,2 speed, rackmount version . Not sure if it's a MK2 or 4. Heads are in very good condition. All electrolytic caps have been replaced with 105 deg long life parts by decent manufacturer's EG Vishay, Panasonic, Nichon Chemicon as have the motor run caps with these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Motor-Capacitors-Set-for-Revox-A77-Revox-B77-Revox-PR99-/281172691050?epid=1439125875&hash=item417732c86a:g:1mcAAOSw4s9XlGMO . All the skeleton presets have been replaced with PIHER pots. I also replaced the RIFA caps with decent caps made by Vishay. the two pin mains connector has been replaced with a 3 pin IEC type and the chassis has been earthed. I have the two pin socket if the buyer wants to put it back on.
On the negative side the head cover is missing and there are a few small scratches and scuffs on the face plate etc. I have also been unable to do a proper set up as I don't have test tapes. Therefore it will need some fettling to get it A1.
Price £200. I'd prefer pickup (I live near Sleaford Lincs) but will send by UPS next day at the buyers own risk. I'll pack it well using double box's. This is advertised on two other UK forum's, in the event of more than one person expressing an interest, I'll pull a name out of a hat.
Andy.
PS, can't see a way to attach a pic. Pics here - http://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/showthread.php?t=138895
