Dang. Condolenscenes to him and his family.

He was one of the first people I ever spoke to on here, and we were working on a project together via email. I was wondering what happened....

Joe was also the first person here in the forum who helped me out.
He was always so helpful and his preamp designs was awesome (and they still awesome).
Rest in Peace Joe.

Always an upstanding guy , open & generous  with his time & knowledge
Completed allot of his own [ impressive ] custom builds , working on a 700x series type format
I believe he had bought a more rural place  / workshop in the last few years , hopefully he was able to enjoy it
He will be missed , and Yes Condolences  to his family & friends [ I'd like to think we were part of that ]

I was very devastated too. I’ve exchanged mails with him since 2015. He was very patient and generous explaining his designs and educating me on related topics. I learned a lot.

Very sad to hear his future projects will never happen... I have yet to finish my dual mid 1084’s and api projects. I will remember him by using them in the future.

Joe Neil rest in peace.
The diy community will always remember you as a caring and helping guy.
We are in debt for projects like the 9k5 and 4k5 preamps...and many more..
Im gonna built those PCBs you send me at no charge...what a generous heart we lost.
