I don't have a plan for one. I like them. I want to know what makes them tick  and how they achieve what they achieve.
I am not looking to copy or clone, I can easily go purchase one.

Nice and close but the 122V is a vacuum tube ribbon mic.  The tube acts as a head amp so you do not need a high gain mic pre.  it utilizes the same ribbon element as the 121.
