Don't know if people are still doing this, but I've got one near completion. I followed the schematic exactly using point to point and read and re-read all of the build threads here and elsewhere. I'm getting the correct voltages on pins 2 and 5 (~100 and ~6) with the mic connected, but pin 1 is reading 0. I've doubled checked everything and am completely out of ideas. It's probably something stupid, but I can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there something obvious that would give me 0 volts on pin 1, but correct voltages on the other pins?
I'm using a NOS RCA 5840 tube and a NOS Jensen MB-D.
