Yeah, but it would be quicker to use ordinary strips/cable binders. Also easier to replace a wire later. I think that's a significant cost factor, since those puppies are handassembled by people who get a nice pay per hour.
Strange, I can't see anything on the originals.
I guess my monitor declines.
I guess my monitor is crappy also - the originals just look like black squares to me...
Well, the originals do look dark to me, but perfectly detailed. Kubi's look like they've been converted to 2 bit resolution :? FYI, my computer is a @-computer (yes, that IS the name) laptop with a 15" screen, brandnew..
Gus and Sismofyt, belive me it is an LM386.
In the e-l-o-p the signal that drives the LED [in fact two leds, antiparalell and the photoresistors are conected paralell too] in the VACTROL is audio signal ,not a rectified voltage like in normal compressors. The advantage is that it will behave like an LA2A because the time constants are dependent on the VACTROL. The only disadvantage is that you can't modify attack and release time constants. But this is the trick, you don't need this. The LA2A has only two knobs ans sounds great.
