I like Islay...single malt  :
The "basic" Laphroaig 10y is my go to... lot of smoke lot of iodine  8)

Same for me Zam, Islay and particularly Laphroaig 10yr old as a trusty go to. I tried an Isle of Jura single Malt a couple of months ago. Light spirit with honey overtones. Quite a contrast.

I love a good cigar from time to time (it has been a while). More likely to partner it with a cognac though.

Yes, Laphraig 10yr for me, too. Ardbeg, especially 14 years and older is great, but they have been hyped and got rather pricy in recent years.
