Hi people!
For my D67 build I planned to mod the SCT2000/Apex 460 power supply instead of building one. Said and done, I ordered a pair from Thomann, heated up the soldering iron and opened up the psu… And found the PCB is different to the one pictured in the IOAudio MK67 building thread. So, the changes to the B+ voltage are no problem from what I see, the problem is the heater voltage. First problem is to make the voltage floating, I marked the places where I wanted to cut the ground plain. Grounding the + is no problem, I think, I could solder a wire to a filter cap on the B+. To get the - voltage to pin 2 I’d solder a wire directly to the 7 pin socket. Anybody modded this PSU already?
