Has anyone ever looked inside one of the monitors control portion of these? I have a pair and am curious if there are any upgrades or mods that would help with even more clarity? I like them but would love to make better if they can be.

mabe take and post some photos. I've heard the eggs before, sounded fine to me but then again years of loud rock and roll might have my hearing askew
