Hi firends, any ideas for a good guitar tremolo with schematics?

Actually I try EA tremolo from runoffgroove.com but I don't like it.

I like something only with speed and depth controls ;)

Thanks :)

You mean amplitude-modulation 'tremelo', right?

I only ask because a lot of people confuse it with vibrato, which is pitch-modulation. A classic example is calling the arm on a guitar a "tremolo" bar... It's a vibrato bar or a pitch bar, but not tremolo!!!

You probably did mean volume, but I thought I'd chip in before anyone started posting BBD pitch circuits or anything...

Sorry I forget to tell that I search solid state. To put in a small box ;)

in this sch I can find only 500k depth pot. Where is a speed pot ? :)

Thanks :)

^ Yes SSLtech I mean amplitude modulation tremolo. not to change the pitch (as the guitar tremolo - floydrose)

When you play naaaaaaaaaa the tremolo will make na na na na na :):)

It varies so much in the old fender amps , many fun but difference vibes

I know Alesis made a cheaper one that did allot , but wasn't very gtr like
[ imo ]

good luck , regards Greg

Hmm, hadn't seen that but it could be added. The 'original' does have both controls, see for instance this one:

But still, based on your words you might be better of with something that does 'really' amplitude-modulation, examples for which are not hard to find

See for a few here: http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/index.php? option=content&task=view&id=141&Itemid=154
(scroll down)

and the geofex-site must have as well: www.geofex.com

etc etc

But are you sure your present unit is indeed functioning OK already ? Who knows you like it but it may need some adjusting ?

hope this helps

For an easy & quick build that doesn't require a metal box, how about getting one of these, rip the PCB & replace it with your own ?

And what do you think about this one:

clintrubber, do toy have behringer's schematics ?

Thanks

I had a Boss PN-2 and I liked it. Actually, I still have it somewhere, I just haven't used it in a long time.

I bought mine at a really good price when they were closed out. Shortly thereafter, they became "collectable" for some reason and second-hand prices shot way up.

Usually no Beh.-schematics available.

But why would you want to have the Beh.-schematic ?
At these prices I wouldn't spend a minute of my life cloning one of these, just buy. As I understood they're plastic though, you might not want that.

If you get one of those Beh.-boxes (it's perhaps no coincidence that your typo resulted in the word 'toy'... ) and trace the schematic it may end up close to a Boss-pedal.

I still have it, too, and it is great...I took it out original case and going to
rack it up with few other pedals that I love...
Well, it's a LOT more than 2 knobs - but the trem lune is supposed to be god (haven't built one yet...)
The general consensus over at DIYS seems to be that Lune is the one to build. Every build report I've read is of the "Oh my God" variety.
I haven't looked at Fuzz Central version too closely, but I think the most current version is on the Commonsound site.
