Mom's stove control panel is dead. Buttons don't work, no clock or lights. Neighbor pulled the module out, mom dropped it off for me to look at it. I get home, realize the two relays onboard are rattling like a rattlesnake when shaken!

The relays are:

jq1p-b-24v-y3

if it helps!

Snooping around the power entry area on the board, diodes and resistors are testing good...

Onlinecomponents.com shows stock, $4 each.

The other usual suspects show no-stock and more minimum-order than your mum needs.

Are you testing relays designed for 220 volt AC on 120 volt mains? If so, they may rattle (on 120) and still be good.

(shoot, morning coffee still kicking in, you're shaking them by hand... carry on)

These are 4A 125V. The one relay is measuring 60R in the normally closed position. Then if I shake it around, 120R, then again 16R. So yeah, I think there is a problem Houston!

Thanks!
