Hi guys!

I have this compressor and it is beatifull,it sound great!But it has only compressor program settings and release!

I was wondering is it possible to modifie this compressor for ATTACK!

I have been messing with the  Capacitors for the attack time on them, but it is not anything that i really understand. I found a nice other value that made  the attack snappier but i havet‘t tested it seriously yet. The project has been on my bench for like 1.5 years

Tr 11, Tr 13 are Threshold as far as i understand the schematic (Schwellenwert is threshold in german). Im not sure if the R38 might not be some kind of symmetry for the two transistors. It might work as threshold though.

Maybe C20 is in charge of the attack time

This is just guessing though as i don't understand how this circuit really work

don't be sad

take it as a reson to look in to how compressors work! Siemens and telefunken have a lot of good information out there.

R37 against C24 is the attack time.

5.1K+10uFd is 51mS (pretty fast)

1K+10uFd will be 10mS (real fast)

50K+10uFd will be 500mS (pretty slow)

So replace R31 with a 1K fixed and a 50K variable in series.
