Please help with Siemens v282d..I have two of them and I have not schematic(I have v282a from kubarth but not same)..If anybody know how to wire pot or gain switch help with tips..I want to use them for low gain mic preamps for drums etc...thanks advance

I draw the pinout once.
I use them sometimes, but didn´t mod any gain pot.

They are quite low gain. Below 30dB if I remember right.

I might have a change to scan the pinout end of this week. I dont have a scanner handy, so you might be quicker if you trace it yourselfe. It´s not that complicated.
Anyway, if you are having problems, feel free to ask.

 
I had one of my units connected with input windings in series. This gives higher input impedance and even lower gain.
It worked, but sounded worse on dynamic mics. So I would not recomend it, if you use it as a micpre.
Simpy use one of the input windings.

I also left the old caps. Still good on mine and I don´t mind a little blured sound as I am having pre amps for "clean gain" asside from them.

Thanks for help..How I need wire to get a maximum gain 30db?? its there RG like on Telefunken v672 or replace some trimmer resistor like in Siemens v272??
