simple "mains" transformer question

How do I connect a mains transformer that he is correct "in phase".

I do have a 2*115V - 2*18V (Ringtrafo).

Does anyone have a pic ?

How can I figure out the colours even without any printing ?

I know which is the prim side and the sec side but don´t know how to each of the two in phase...

Hi,

Have you got a scope handy?

What are the colours of the leads?

Has the manufacturer got a website you could get a datasheet from?

Have you done a continuity test to find matching pairs, and measure the DC resistance? You can usually guess the pri and sec from this.
