I downloaded multisim and made a basic opamp circuit to check things out.
When I try to run the simulation I get an error that there's no power source. I tried to connect the opamp to a dc power source but I still get the same error and the electrical rules checker complains about the fact that I connected vs+/- to a bidirectional powersource. If I use a virtual opamp there's no problem because I can specify the voltages in the properties of the opamp. But with a 'real one' I actually have to connect the vs pins to a power source. I guess I'm missing something important here! :?

connect two DC sources together, the positive of one to the negative of the other. The junction of the two is the ground and the remaining two ports are the positive and negitive.
