single diaphragm bidirectional sdc?

I am curious if anyone has ever made a single diaphragm sdc that is side address with a figure 8 polar pattern? Ie schoeps mk8, senn mkh30…

Les Watts of L M Watts Technology in Georgia had one available for a second, from what I understand, but I’ve never heard of anyone ever getting one. I tried to grab some for a year, once I was aware, but I was never successful at getting ahold of Les. His existence online seems to have ended too. I have no idea what happened.
