I am looking to buy a solder pot, anyone have experience with American Beauty? Anyone buy the 300 and then wish they bought the 600? There is a ceramic option, what is the benefit? I do a decent amount or wiring but it isnt my only gig. Open to other suggestions but prefer American made.
Also, I have read eventually you need to empty them and refill once they reach a certain lifespan, but what do you do to empty them exactly?
