I just added a few schematics from the Analog Devices Audio/Video Reference Manual which may be of interest. Included is the Morgan Compressor/limiter, which Analog devices removed from their online tech library several years ago. Morgan was Valley Audio's main designer for nine years. find it here:

The url works fine for me. It takes you to Google Mail and you have to put in the DIY group user name and passwork. There you will find the complete 430 and model 6 schematics I uploaded.

The matrix is for M/S encoding, but with a little immagination and an IC configured as an inverter, this can magically transform into a M/S decoder. You could even get fancy and stick a "shuffler" in there if you wanted to be historically accurate.
