Sony c37a swappable for tests with the two different PSUs?

Is it okay to power a c37a that is biased (or whatever the internal resistor is) for a CP-2 PSU with the CP-3B PSU and vice versa? I have a noisy c37a and a clean one. I'd like to make sure the noise is coming from the mic and not the power supply. so a quick swap would be sweet.

I believe there is a resister change in the mic... not so much the power supply that might be the issue

They are not interchangeable.
