i'm tired of searching through all the posts....

i have all but a few resistors landed on the SSL PCB's from gustav.

i have one question that i can't seem to find an answer for.

in the VCA are of the PCB, there is a 1k resistor marked:

1k*

but there is no single "*" anywhere that i can find notating what the revision is.

the 2k** is noted as meter sensitivity (20dB or 10dB)

the schematic only shows a single 1k resistor within the VCA path but the PCB has two.

what is the deal with the 1k* silk screen

is it a misprint?

if so, what value do i stick there?

HELP????

sorry

i try to avoid asking by searching the forums

i must not have punched in the right keywords to the search.

Don't apologise for asking.
I tried searching for this "1k *" thing myself and could find it neither.

I might have been the previous one asking this.
Here's that link, hidden in another SSL-thread subject (but you know the answer already  ):

Bye,
the search function is buggy i feel. no matter what i type in i get 696 matches!
I found this as well... i think the problem is with "Search for any terms...", so now I always type exactly what I want and hit "Search for all terms", works much better!
